Day 24 - Bercianos del real Camino (by taxi - tendinitis still mending)

So grateful to all 3 of my daughters for their enthusiastic support and love… Their encouragement has helped me reconnect to my gratitude for having this amazing experience and put in perspective this small setback with tendinitis.

Also everyone who is commenting, know that I read and appreciate each and every comment, replying for some reason is cumbersome, but I’m feelin’ the love❤️

So many different ways to do the Camino… Yesterday brought two men with donkeys packing all their camping gear… Today, a young couple are doing it with a toddler and a baby on bikes… My hats off to them…

The process of walking the Camino is stripping away so many layers of who I thought I was…I see that the gift for me of walking on my own is to find myself without influence from others… Who am I when I don’t have to worry what others think …? By dropping all my normal routines, habits and rules, I have the luxury of digging deep to find what lays underneath all of that.

I am seeing that the real fear of walking on my own was not a safety concern, but something much deeper and scarier😄

Sitting in the sun in this lovely healing garden with a new Camino friend Annea…we are sharing a private room tonight, nice luxury😄
